January 4, 2025 — Lake Michigan

Canceled due to bad weather.


January 19, 2025 — Private Lake

5 members braved the cold and 1 bass was caught for points.


February 1, 2025 — TBD

Canceled due to weather.


February 15, 2025 — TBD

6 members endured the elements for this outing. Some panfish and pike were but none qualifing for points.


March 15, 2025 — TBD

7 members fished Independence Grove Forest Preserve in the midst of gale force winds with gusts reaching around 30 mph. Some bass and Crappie were caught, with a total of 2 Largemouth Bass and 11 Crappie landed for points. The biggest fish of the outing was a 14” Largemouth caught by Matt Biggerstaff.


April 5, 2025 — Rock River/Lake Koshkonong

Accounts are that the club just missed the hot walleye bite last week. No fish were landed by the 6 club members who attended the outing.


April 19, 2025 — Fox Chain

7 club members and 1 guest fished the chain with overcast sky and slight drizzle of rain. A total of 2 walleye, 7 bluegill, 6 Crappie, and 2 yellow bass were caught for points. The big fish win went to John Medved with a nice 19” walleye!


May 3, 2025 — Lake Michigan

Faced with projected 3-4 foot waves and 15+ mph wind, this outing was called off due to bad weather on the big lake. However, cohos should be shallow and active for the next month!


May 17, 2025 — Private Walleye Lake

Despite some decent wind and challenging boat control, 14 club members and 2 guests hit the water on a private lake in northern Illinois. A decent catch was recorded, with 15 Largemouth Bass, 9 Walleye, 2 Bluegill, 2 Crappie, and 5 Yellow Bass caught for points.


May 31, 2025 — Lake Elizabeth

Elizabeth Lake was fished by 11 club members. Multiple species were caught for points, including a 17” Largemouth and a 22” Northern Pike - the largest fish of the year so far. Total fish landed for points include 17 Largemouth Bass, 2 Walleye, 2 Northern Pike, and 1 Bluegill.


June 14, 2025 — Private Bass Lake

This local spot again produced good Largemouth Bass fishing for the 11 club members and 1 guest who hit the water. Many Largemouth were caught, with 25 qualifying for points. 5 Largemouth landed were 18”, or larger, and a 20” beauty won the big fish title for the outing. Besides Bass, the other fish boated for points includes 12 Crappies, 3 Bluegill, and 1 Perch.


June 28, 2025 — Silver Lake

5 club members fished Silver Lake facing very tough conditions - little wind, high heat, and blue bird skies. Both Largemouth Bass and Panfish were landed but only 5 Bluegills caught qualified for points. On a better note, club member Mike Olszewski, Jr., had multiple large muskies follow his spinners, but none could be tempted to strike.


July 12, 2025 — Round Lake

Bass and Panfish were were the main target for the 12 club members who fished Round Lake. Multiple fish were landed for points including, 19 Largemouth Bass, 1 Smallmouth Bass, 1 Catfish, 4 Crappie, 3 Bluegill, and 2 Perch. Stew Fishman landed a gorgeous 20.5” Largemouth Bass to win the Big Fish award of the day?


July 26, 2025 — Lake Delavan

It was a slow day on Lake Delavan for the 7 members and 1 guest who fished the outing. The fish caught for points included 1 Largemouth, 2 Northern Pile, 1 Rock Bass, and 10 Bluegill.


August 9, 2025 — Independence Grove

10 members and 1 guest fished Independence Grove once again, with 2 Largemouth and 1 Pumpkinseed landed for points.


August 23, 2025 — Powers Lake

7 club members fished Powers lake for this outing. 7 Largemouth were caught for points, with the largest coming in at 14”.


September 13, 2025 — Private Lake

17 club members attended the outing with a multi-species catch including 2 Walleye, 2 Largemouth, 15 Bluegill, 1 Crappie, and 10 Yellow Bass qualifying for points. The big fish of the outing was a nice 25” Walleye landed by Mikey Olszewski, Jr.!


October 11-12, 2025 — Lake Koshkonong

11 club members fished Lake Koshkenong with a good multi-species catch over the 2 days. The fish landed for points include: 28 White Bass, 13 Smallmouth, 11 Walleyes, 7 Drum, 6 Rock Bass, 4 Catfish, 3 Sauger, 3 Largemouth, 2 Perch, and 1 Yellow Bass - for a total of 326 points! The big fish award of the outing went to Matt Biggerstaff with a beautiful 29.25” Catfish.


November 1-2, 2025 — Lake Wisconsin

This outing was attended by 12 club members who had very conductive fishing conditions of slight cloud cover with mild “Walleye Chop” wind. The final results were very good with qualifying fish caught for a total of 333 points. Included in the outing were the following fish landed for points: 54 Saugers, 11 Drum, 9 Crappie, 5 Perch, 4 Walleye, 3 White Bass, 1 Smallmouth, and 1 Sturgeon. The outing Big Fish award (for the target species) went to Al Silcroft with a beautiful 17” Walleye. Additionally, a Sturgeon reaching 51” and pushing 30 pounds was also landed by Al Silcroft, with said fish standing as the Big Fish of the season!


December 6, 2025 — Navy Pier/Lake Michigan
