Fisherman of the Year

The Jay Hall Memorial Fisherman of the Year Award goes to the club member with the most points at the end of the year. Members earn points for fish they catch during club outings. (Click here to see the points system.) Current standings after the October 5-6 Lake Koshkonong outing are:

1st: Dave Busscher — 192

2nd: Michael Olszewski, Jr. — 186

3rd: Jeff Haug — 170

Multi-Species Master

The Gregg Stockey Memorial Multi-Species Master Award goes to the club member with the greatest total length of five fish. The fish must be caught during club outings and be five different species. Current standings after the October 5-6 Lake Koshkonong outing are:

1st: Michael Olszewski, Jr. - 108.5” (30” northern pike, 23” salmon, 19” largemouth bass, 18.75” walleye, 17.75” sauger)

2nd: Lou DiNicola - 106.75” (30.5” northern pike, 20” salmon, 19” walleye, 18” largemouth bass, 19.25” channel catfish)

3rd: Ward Aldrich - 104.75” (24.75” walleye, 24” channel catfish, 23.5” salmon, 16.5” sauger, 16” largemouth bass)

Big Fish

The annual Big Fish contest is won by the club member who catches the longest fish of any species (which is eligible for points) during all club outings throughout the year. Current standings after the October 5-6 Lake Koshkonong outing are:

1st: Joe Finn — 33” northern pike

2nd: Lou DiNicola — 30.5” northern pike
