Lake Wisconsin -- November 2-3, 2024
Twelve members and one guest fished on our annual trip to Lake Wisconsin. The mornings were cold, but it warmed up in the afternoons. There was some wind and rain, but overall the conditions were decent for fall fishing.
The bite was slow at times, but fish were caught if you were persistent. It was a nice mix of sauger and walleye with a few other species mixed in. Minnows on jigs and crappie rigs produced the most fish with a few also caught on blade baits. The bite was very light, so you had to watch your rod tip carefully.
