Private Walleye Lake - May 16, 2026

Lou and Midge were great hosts as always on this much looked forwarded to outing on a local private lake. The outing was well attended by 17 club members and some nice fish were landed for points. The morning was all rain and overcast skies but the poor weather subsided as the day progressed. 16 Largemouth Bass, 16 Walleye, 5 Crappie, 14 Yellow Bass, and 1 Perch were landed for points with a decent amount of other fish caught that did not qualify. The Big Fish Award of the outing went to new club member John Roberts with a very nice 21.5” Walleye! Certainly a solid outing and the club looks forward to future outings on this great lake.
