Lake Michigan - December 3, 2023

Our last outing of the year was uneventful. Ten club members and one guest fished a Lake Michigan harbor on a very cold and windy morning with very little action. Two small northern pike were caught and a couple more were briefly on before spitting the hook. We mostly used live golden roaches a foot or so off bottom, but other techniques were also tried.

The good news is the temperature is dropping and lakes are icing up. Hopefully we’ll be ice fishing soon!
